Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications or other forms of instruction.

Essential Position Requirements:
·    Weld pipe for structures, etc. ·    Fabricate area walls, bands and accessories for CSP products. ·    Poly recoating of poly coated products. ·    Maintain accurate daily production reports. ·    Estimate quantities for jobs as per drawings and plans. ·    Coordinate work for due dates. ·    Welding and cutting duties that are required in fabrication department. ·    Keep area free of fire hazards, trip hazards, etc. ·    Other tasks as assigned.

Education & Work Experience:
·    High School Diploma or GED and basic welding experience.

Knowledge & Skills:
·    Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. ·    Blue print and drawing knowledge. ·    Forklift experience. ·    Experience in stick, and wire feed welding and plasma and oxyacetylene cutting. ·    Knowledge of power tools (drills, ironworkers, etc.). ·    Knowledge of measuring equipment. ·    Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

·    Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping and stretching. ·    Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate welding and other shop equipment. ·    Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
