First of all, the Casper Team of professionals pictured above extend a huge Western welcome to you for visiting our website, and further extends an invitation to visit our plant and meet our team in Casper whenever you have the opportunity to stop by. Whether you are a customer, supplier, business associate of vacation visitor, our doors are open! Come see how we produce some of the world’s largest diameter corrugated steel pipe (CSP) off one of the two corrugating culvert mills installed in our “new” plant. The Casper Plant is centrally located to the booming industrial and natural resource markets of Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain front-range. Oil, gas, minerals, miles and miles of highways, and a vibrant economy contribute to a great market base to serve and support.
Roscoe Steel & Culvert recognized the complementary culture and customer requirements between the Montana and Wyoming markets in the early 90’s and when the opportunity presented itself in 1999, Jim Roscoe purchased the former CISCO (Culvert and Industrial Supply Company) and significantly expanded the plant operation with a multi-million dollar investment in plant and equipment. Today, Roscoe’s Casper plant and workforce rank as role models within the industry for establishing and maintaining a Value Discipline of “Operational Excellence."
The attached sequence of plant pictures illustrates some of the features of the Casper facility. One of the first things that Roscoe completed immediately after the purchase of CISCO was to built a new fabrication plant and helical culvert mill operation to meet the growing demand for steel products in the greater Wyoming area. Culvert production capacity was increased over 150%, and the addition of a dedicated corrugated sheet mill allows Casper the unique opportunity to support North American markets coast-to-coast with truckload quantities of corrugated sheeting for annular pipe production, and other uses.
The Casper Plant has been a preferred fabricator of structural steel for the dynamic building market throughout the Wyoming region, as well as supporting the growth of the business in the design-build modular steel bridge market.
