Prior to telling you many of the facts about the Missoula Plant, we sincerely extend a Western Montana welcome to you and invite you to visit, tour the facilities and meet the Missoula Team. The picture to the immediate right is an aerial view of the plant looking south, including rail spur and storage yards for steel, culvert, and fabricated bridges. This plant and adjoining facilities was constructed in 1989 on a 17-acre site in the recently developed Momont Industrial Park, immediately to the North of the Missoula International Airport. The new plant was a welcome addition to Roscoe Steel & Culvert Company. Prior to its building, our Western Montana and Idaho markets were supported, since 1965, via a plant location that was eventually swallowed up by Missoula development and growth. Our corrugated steel pipe and structural steel fabrication operations needed a new home that was superbly met in the new plant. Currently, the Missoula Team is comprised of approximately 30 professionals in steel fabrications, sales, marketing, operations and administration. The Missoula Plant fabricated its first bridge in the early 1980’s, and has since supplied literally hundreds of design-build modular steel bridges to customers throughout the country.
With quadruple overhead bridge cranes and two bays for manufacturing/fabrication, Missoula dramatically increased the fabrication of modular steel bridges for National markets. In addition, the Missoula Team has provided exceptional support for local structural steel building requirements and growth (note the attached comment from the builder of the Direct TV Callcenter in Missoula).
The Missoula Plant holds the valuable and prestigious American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certification for Complex Steel Building Structures and Simple Bridges. The attached pictures of the Missoula Plant are provided as an overview of the operation. We hope to show you firsthand how our team of professionals markets, designs, fabricates and ships our products throughout the country.
