Roscoe Bridge is the third Business Unit within Roscoe Steel & Culvert, and provides a steady platform for market diversity and growth within the business. It supports a market sector that stands unique from those of Roscoe Culvert and Roscoe Steel, for the most part; however, Roscoe Bridge shares many similar owners, contractors and agencies to those of our sister business units. Roscoe Bridge is in the business of providing Design-Build steel bridges to our market customers.
Roscoe Bridge adds exceptional value for our customers by integrating the design of the steel bridge into the fabrication package. This greatly simplifies the evaluation and selection process that customers go through in purchasing a delivered bridge. By going to the Roscoe Bridge website and reviewing the range of standardized bridge options, customers can have a price and picture of a bridge to meet their requirements within 24-48 hours.
Simple question with an equally simple and straightforward answer: 1) lower installed cost to customers and 2) much shorter delivery time, by a long shot! Traditionally, prior to Roscoe Bridge, customers who wanted a bridge had to go through the onerous task of 1) learning the ins-and-outs of various bridge designs, 2) evaluating and selecting a responsible professional engineer to design the type of bridge desired, 3) designing the bridge and paying the engineer (prior to having a definitive cost estimate of the final bridge design) 4) sending out the design drawings to fabricators for bids, and 5) awarding a bid to a fabricator and managing the interface between the fabricator and the owners local contractor. Wow, no wonder many private owners who would like a bridge on their property never purchased one!

Roscoe Bridge has provided literally hundreds of design-build bridges to private owners, counties, and state and federal agencies. The key value-contributor in our business is our investment in pre-engineered bridge designs that can be utilized by more than one customer, therefore spreading the cost of design across a much larger group than one individual owner. By designing great bridges in standardized modules and configurations, individual owners don’t have to pay for unique engineering. These standardized designs are flexible and can be configured to customize a bridge similar to the concept of building your own Dell or HP computer from a list of tools, options and accessories provided by the manufacturer. Roscoe Bridge runs off a similar model by providing you with a range of pre-engineered bridge options that allows you to “customize your standard bridge."
