70-foot Modular Bridge Installation |
Well, let’s start with “steel”! We make steel bridges in two general configurations; 1) Modular Steel Bridges, and 2) Trail Bridges. Modular steel bridges are generally configured like the picture of the “70-foot Modular Bridge Installation” above, i.e. they are pre-fabricated steel bridges in 2-to-4 sections/modules, depending on the width of the bridge, that are bolt-together units that can be installed in the field and driven over in one or two days; honestly! Trail Bridges, on the other hand, are trussed bridges that are usually suited for walk bridges, foot bridges, and light vehicle applications such as 4-wheeling and farm & ranch.
We invite you to visit the Roscoe Bridge website at www.roscoebridge.com by clicking on either of these links. This site is dedicated to supporting the private-owner, design-build market.

This is a question asked often and we quick to say “yes – but …” The “yes” means that we have great versatility in the pre-engineered designs of the modular steel bridges and the trussed “trail-type” bridges. Believe it or not, both of the bridges pictured above, the 120-foot Ski Bridge and the 70-foot Modular Bridge Installation are almost identical bridges in the modular bridge family. Both are bolt-together units designed and utilizing standard components that Roscoe Bridge stocks. This is key, “utilizing standard components that Roscoe Bridge stocks”. The two Trail bridges pictured below are shown for the same purpose which is to point out that the are almost identical, even though they are very different in their requirements. Both of these pictures are in an immediately following E-mail.

Therefore, the “yes” in “yes – but …” is that our pre-engineered line of bridge has great flexibility in look and function; however, the “but” is driven by our need to stay within the family of pre-engineered bridges in order to provide the “value” associated with Roscoe Bridge’s Value Proposition. We encourage all potential customers to contact us if there is any doubt regarding the fit between their requirements and our pre-engineered line of design-build steel bridges.
