Well, this is an easy question to answer but the answer is pretty expansive. Almost all building and bridge construction is framed or supported with steel. The steel that that goes into this framing and support structure is what Roscoe Steel fabricates! Depending on your frame of reference, Roscoe Steel is either a mid-size or a large fabricator. We fabricate approximately 10,000 tons of steel a year, which is a lot. This may comprise 30 or more bridges and 30-to-50 buildings that are erected and occupied around steel that came from Roscoe plants. Now, if your frame of reference is aircraft carriers, the new USS Ronald Reagan has over 100,000 tons of steel in it, so by these standards we are only a mid-size fabricator.

In each of the Roscoe Steel fabrication plants, there is are signs erected at the direction of the owner (Jim Roscoe) that states “If you are not proud of it, don’t ship it!” He means it and we mean it!
